Tiivistelmä työpaikkailmoituksesta:

  • Senior Product Designer (mobile) at Musopia based in Helsinki on a full-time permanent contract, with salary paid monthly.
  • You will take end-to-end ownership of mobile product design, creating user journeys, interaction flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity interfaces while collaborating closely with product, engineering, growth and data teams.
  • The role requires a Bachelor's degree, around five years' experience designing consumer-facing mobile apps, strong UX, interaction and visual design skills with proficiency in Figma, and fluent spoken and written English.
  • The team works mainly in hybrid mode with an expectation to be in the Helsinki office two days per week, employees receive a free guitar or ukulele, and applications with a CV must be submitted by August 9, 2026.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of music education. You will play a key role in defining and improving user experience across our products, working closely with product managers, developers, data analysts, and fellow designers to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex product challenges, combining user insight with business goals, and turning ideas into polished experiences used by millions of learners.

- Take end-to-end ownership of product design initiatives from discovery through to implementation and iteration.

- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, growth, and data teams to identify user needs and business opportunities.

- Design user journeys, interaction flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces.

- Translate product strategy, user research and data insights into intuitive experiences that improve engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction.

- Plan and conduct usability testing, user interviews and other research activities when needed.

- Validate concepts through rapid prototyping and experimentation.

- Work closely with developers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.

- Contribute to and evolve Musopia’s design systems and design processes.

- Champion user-centered design throughout the organization.

- Present and communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders across the company.

Requirements

- Several years of experience designing successful consumer-facing mobile applications.

- Strong expertise in UX, interaction design and mobile product design.

- Excellent visual design skills with a portfolio demonstrating both strategic thinking and polished execution.

- Strong proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.

- Experience working closely with cross-functional product teams.

- Ability to balance user needs, business objectives and technical constraints.

- Understanding experimentation, product analytics, and data-informed design.

- Strong communication skills and fluent spoken and written English.

- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

- Experience designing subscription-based or freemium mobile products.

- Experience in gamification, engagement systems, or educational products.

- Experience working with Design Systems at scale.

- Familiarity with Unity-based products and implementation workflows.

- Interest in music, learning, or creative tools.
