Solution Manager, CAD applications

• You will maintain, implement and develop Neste's 3D plant design systems and processes, acting as the 3D design systems and software expert for the business line.
• You will provide support and training to key users and end users, participate in design projects, and plan enhancements and customizations.
• The role requires deep knowledge of 3D design systems—especially Hexagon Smart 3D with SQL—relevant experience, a technical B.Sc./M.Sc., and strong English and interpersonal skills.

Solution Manager 

to join our Layout and Piping team in Neste Investment Projects Execution and Governance at Porvoo, Neste Technology Center. In this position you will have an opportunity to develop and collaborate with large stakeholder groups including professionals from different fields.

Your role in our team

●    maintain, implement and develop Neste 3D design systems and processes, all plant design is done in 3D for decades.
●    act as 3D design systems and software expert within the business line and provide support to the key users
●    participate to design projects

●    be in charge of training and support the end users
●    plan and develop enhancements and customizations that fit the company’s various needs

Neste has in constant upkeep several 3D design environments. Our main tool for plant design is  (Hexagon) Smart 3D. We also use Bentley Microstation and Autodesk tools, Leica tools for laser scans etc.. 

Keys to success in this role

The best combination to succeed in this role

●    deep knowledge of 3D design systems, especially in S3D is mandatory (SQL database)
●    experience in similar work tasks and suitable technical B. Sc. / M. Sc. degree
●    excellent interpersonal skills; you communicate well in English and have the ability to work in global teams and changing business environment
●    strong organizational skills, ability to adapt and work both independently and as a member of a team
