Cloud Architect

• Senior/principal Cloud Architect role aimed at professionals with around 10+ years of experience, though applicants with over 8 years of technical experience are welcome.
• You must have deep expertise in public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, Azure Bicep), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• You will design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures, work hands-on with the team writing code, and produce clear technical documentation.

Your skills and attributes of success

• Extensive experience with major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP), including in-depth knowledge of their services, best practices, and cost optimization strategies.

• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures that align with business objectives and industry standards.

• Strong understanding of network architecture, security principles, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO) in cloud environments.

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, or Azure Bicep, focusing on maintainable and modular code.

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes), serverless architectures, and—most importantly—knowledge of choosing between them.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing robust monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using cloud-native and third-party tools.

• Solid understanding of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL) and data storage solutions in cloud environments.

• Ability to break down architecture into small iterations and evolve it over time as new customer needs emerge and clarify.

• Capability to create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.

And maybe you even

• Have a background as a Cloud Engineer, Sysadmin, or Network Engineer.

• Possesses data expertise from Data Engineer or architect roles.

• Have certifications from one or more clouds.
