Community engagement specialist - datacenters

• The Community Engagement Specialist will act as the day-to-day liaison between the customer, general contractors and the local community by visiting sites, managing community feedback, participating in project meetings, and preparing weekly updates.
• The role requires strong local presence and stakeholder-management experience in infrastructure or construction, excellent communication and documentation skills, and fluency in Finnish with strong professional English.
• The fixed-term position starts in October 2026 in Espoo and surrounding areas, runs for 12 months with possible extension, and the successful candidate will be employed by Adecco.

For a well-known and iconic global ICT customer in Espoo, we are looking for a Community engagement specialist for Datacenter projects.

Tasks and job description

• Serve as liaison between general contractors, neighbours and stakeholders

• Act as a day-to-day bridge between the customer, its general contractors, and the local community

• Visiting construction sites and surrounding areas on a regular basis and assessing potential community impacts

• Maintaining regular contact with neighbours and local stakeholders as construction progresses

• Participating in relevant project meetings

• Managing community feedback

• Preparing weekly updates

• Monitoring, documenting, coordinating

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong local presence, stakeholder management capability, and disciplined execution

• Experience in infrastructure development and/or construction

• Experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, or a related external-facing role

• Strong ability to build trusted relationships with local stakeholders, including neighbours, municipalities, partners, and contractors

• Ability to monitor, document, and escalate issues

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Fluency in Finnish mandatory, and strong professional English language skills

Start: October 2026

End: 12 months + potential extension

Location: Espoo + surroundings
